thank you, New Orleans Saints
I watched the NFL games today, even though I know the Saints are out of the picture after a hard-fought, exciting, really fun and interesting loss to the San Francisco 49ers—a game in which the lead changed hands four times in the last four minutes. Much credit goes to ‘Niners tight end Vernon Davis (who was crying when he left the field after scoring the winning points…I completely got that, it was that kind of game). I think our tight end Jimmy Graham also showed that he can play sports pretty well too. We lost this one, it all came down to one minute of football where the 49ers just outplayed us, but it was a great game to the very end. And that’s the end of the season. Hey, the supposedly unstoppable Packers lost today, to the same Giants we whooped a few weeks ago (I went to that game, it was a beaut).
Anyway, it was a really fun season. and I’m glad I got to see part of it in person and on TV as a New Orleans resident. Wait a minute, is that why I moved?
