my birthday, some year in my 20s
Good lord…my girlfriend Cyndi organized a surprise party for me at a ridiculous cowboy-themed restaurant called Marshal Andy’s.
I think it stayed open about three months total. The stuffed potato skins were a hit though.
I remember the barstools were real saddles, it was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sit at the bar.
You could barely reach it in fact.
As pictured here, Marshal Andy came out with his band and sang to us about “Cowboy Heaven.”

my old band The Stacks to play soon
My old band The Stacks is going to play soon, in a week or two. It’s to benefit a sweet dog. I’ll have more details shortly.
Here’s the one song we recorded kinda on purpose, for a WTUL compilation I don’t think I ever got a copy of.
